Sino Caring Friends organises a 'Cantonese Learning Programme'
to help the South Asian families integrate into our society
Sino Caring Friends have joined hands with HK SKH Lady MacLehose Centre Services for Ethnic Minorities to organise a 'Cantonese Learning Programme'. Through interactive games and learning sessions, the programme aims to teach basic Cantonese to South Asian families to build their confidence and help them integrate into our society.

The first of the four sessions took place at Lady MacLehose Centre on 27 March 2010. Sino Caring Friends and the volunteers from the Islands Youth Association taught South Asian family members aged from 4 to 38. The first session included easy-to-grasp teaching materials produced specially for the initiative and emphasised listening, and speaking basic daily phrases such as greetings and public transportation.
