We believe voluntary service helps staff to better understand and contribute to the community, and above all, it helps develop their personal capabilities including management, communication and leadership skills.

I. Sino Home Visit Programme
| 1. Festive Home Visits |
About 70 Sino Caring Friends have participated in the Festive Home Visit Service, visiting more than 90 underprivileged families in Sham Shui Po and Wong Tai Sin districts before Chinese New Year to bring them festive gift packs and joy.
The home visit service has been rendered with support from Society for Community Organization and Ho Chui District Community Centre for Senior Citizens (sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen). |

| 2. Monthly Home Improvement Services |
To leverage our professional expertise, a technical team has been formed to offer home improvement service such as circuit electricity checking, basic maintenance and cleaning service for underprivileged families on a monthly basis. Since its launch, we have served over 120 underprivileged families in Sham Shui Po, Wong Tai Sin, Kwun Tong and Kwai Tsing districts. The service will be extended to different districts in 2013.
This service is rendered with support from Hong Kong Family Welfare Society, and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Yu Mak Yuen Integrated Service Centre. |

| 3. Monthly Elderly Home Visits |
| Sino Caring Friends continues to serve single elderly, together with Ho Chui District Community Centre for Senior Citizens (sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen), providing regular home visit to those single elderly in Tsz Wan Shan. Nearly 200 single elderly have been served since 2011. |

II. Sino Caring Celebration Series
| 1. Chinese New Year Party |
Sino Caring Friends volunteer team invited more than 200 people from social organisations and about 60 underprivileged families in Tin Shui Wai, Tai Kok Tsui and Tai Wo Hau districts joined the Chinese New Year party. The party was held on 2 February at the rooftop garden of Skyline Tower in Kowloon Bay.
This service is rendered with support from Asbury Methodist Social Service, Association Concerning Sexual Violence Against Women, Hong Chi Association, Hong Kong Family Welfare Society Women Centre, Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Associaition Jockey Club Tin Shui Wai Family Wellness Centre, Parents' Association of Pre-school Handicapped Children, TREATS and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Jockey Club Tai Kok Tsui Integrated Services Centre. |

III. Children and Youth Activities
| 1. Alice in the Maze |
Sino Caring Friends volunteer team invited about 60 children from underprivileged families in Tai Kok Tsui and Sham Shui Po to explore the wonderland of Alice at Olympian City. Volunteers and participants had an enjoyable Sunday, looking for Alice in the storybook and the maze at Olympian City.

IV. Green and Community Activities
| 1. Islands District Healthy City Tree Planting Festival - Green Lantau 2013 |
| Some 30 staff and their family members took part in the 'Islands District Healthy City Tree Planting Festival' on 13 April to support Islands District's tree conservation activities for the fourth consecutive year. The activity was jointly organised by Islands Healthy City Working Group under Islands District Council and Agricultural, Fisheries and Conservation Department. Participants were guided by volunteers from The Conservancy Association to plant and fertilise seedlings at Nei Lak Shan. |

| 2. Green Sense Walkathon 2013 |
| 30 staff and their family members took part in ‘Green Sense Walkathon 2013’ at Fanling on 24 March. The Walkathon started from the barbecue area at Hok Tau Reservoir, passed through Sha Lo Tung and concluded at Fung Yuen in Tai Po. In addition to enjoying the picturesque scenery, the participants were able to learn more about the biodiversity of the area and conservation through the guided tour. |

| 3. 'Canstruction® Hong Kong' Food Rescue |
| Olympian City joined hands with the local food rescue organisation 'Food Angel' of Bo Foundation in Christmas 2012 to present 'canstruction® Hong Kong', Asia's first canstruction® charity can installation competition and canned food donation event. Sino Caring Friends volunteer team helped packing food on 2 January 2013, the last day of the exhibition. Bo Foundation delivered 24,000 cans of canned food to 7 food banks and non-profitmaking organisations to support the needy. |

V. Charity Walks and Fund-raising Events
| 1. New Territories Walk 2013 |
Sino Group participated in the 'New Territories Walk' on 3 March. More than 300 staff and their family members and friends joined the charity walk along the Pak Shek Kok Promenade to raise funds for 23 social organisations under the Community Chest to support their provision of services for the needy. This year, the Group also invited Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Jockey Club Tai Kok Tsui Integrated Services Centre, Ho Chui District Community Centre for Senior Citizens (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen) and Asbury Methodist Social Service which led 120 youths and families to join this meaningful event.
The Honourable Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR Government officiated the walk. The walk started from Hong Kong Science Park, along the Pak Shek Kok Promenade and Providence Bay, and concluded at Tai Po Waterfront Park, spanning a total distance of approximately 5.5 km. |

| 2. The 2013 Community Chest Corporate Challenge |
| Sino Group took part in The 2013 Community Chest Corporate Challenge organised by The Community Chest held at the Sai Kung Pak Tam Chung Country Park on 13 January to raise funds for 58 social welfare agencies under the auspices of the Chest to support rehabilitation and aftercare services. 42 Sino athletes completed the Half-marathon and 10km race. |

VI. Recognition
| 1. Hong Kong Family Welfare Society Volunteer Recognition Day |
| Sino Group received the 'Certificate of Appreciation' from Hong Kong Family Welfare Society for the partnership of organising voluntary services in 2012 – 2013, including the monthly 'Home Improvement Service', 'Summer Mentorship Programme' and sponsoring the 'Growth Enhancement' Learning Project. Sino Caring Friends volunteer team also participated in the Circle Painting session with other corporate volunteers to kick off the event. |

| 2. TWGHs Corporate Partnership Recognition Ceremony 2013 |
| Sino Group has been recognised by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals at the TWGHs Corporate Partnership Recognition on 21 March for its continuous contribution to the community in the past year, including the monthly Home Improvement Service, Festive Home Visits and Summer Mentorship Programme. |
